Hello, school supporters,

As we’ve learned through experience, our schools run best and reach their highest potential when they’re supported by effective, intelligent governance in both towns. Today is Election day for both Hamilton and Wenham. Please vote, and remind your family, friends and neighbors to vote as well.

Hamilton votes at the Winthrop Elementary school; Wenham votes at Town Hall. Polls are open in both locations from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Things are quiet this year in Wenham, with no contested races. In Hamilton, things are not quiet at all. Among the contested races are those for town moderator, planning board, select board and housing authority.

While Support Our Schools does not endorse individual candidates, we do want you to know there are very clear differences between candidates this year. The outcome of the vote today will impact our towns and schools for many months and years to come. Please take a moment to read up on the candidates, check out the discussions on social media, talk to your civic-minded friends and neighbors, then head to the polls and make your voice heard!
