Support Our Schools

Dear Supporter of Hamilton Wenham Schools,

We need your help! On behalf of the Support Our Schools Override Committee, we are writing to ask for your help to pass the override in Hamilton and Wenham this year. The SOS Override Committee needs to raise $1800 for mailings, posters, emails and other publication materials, and we need your financial help to make this happen. Not much, just $10-$50 to support the expenses of running an override campaign? (Please do not donate more than $50. Donations over that amount trigger burdensome paperwork requirements and we would rather save our volunteer’s efforts for the campaign itself.)

In early May we need all hands on deck to gather at our respective town meetings (May 3rd in Wenham and May 5th in Hamilton) and get the override on the ballot for a vote. The actual ballot vote will be May 15th. In previous years, the override has only passed by a few votes so every precious voter counts—-including grandparents, HS Seniors, recent HS Grads and of course both parents.
