‘09 Budget: Come hear what’s in, what’s out and why

SOS strongly urges everyone to make it a priority to attend tomorrow’s School Committee Public Hearing on March 19 at the Buker Multi Purpose Room at 7:00 pm.

Find out what’s in the protected budget, what’s in the override budget, and what got left off completely. How will these numbers directly affect our students? What are the consequences if the Override fails? How will this affect my tax bill?
This is a chance to learn and ask questions about the school budget and Override amount before it legally must be finalized on March 31. We’re hoping for a big turnout. Please come, and bring one friend or neighbor.
